Trade customers
Trade customers are those who purchase from ESA for the purposes of promoting and reselling our titles. We classify them as either retail trade (sell to the public) or wholesale trade (sell to schools).
Discount
The standard trade discount is 35%.
Trade terms
Payment must be made by the 20th of the month following the date of the invoice.
Freight is free for orders of 10 books or more.
$2.00 surcharge is added for orders of less than four books.
Books supplied by ESA shall remain the property of ESA until payment is received for the same.
Opening an account
To become a trade customer you need to open an account which can be done electronically by downloading an application form at credit application form or by phoning ESA Customer Services on 0800-372-266 or by email on info@esa.co.nz.
Trade mail box
We contact trade customers with our monthly trade mail box (TMB), which is posted in the first 2 weeks of each month with the latest statement. A copy of our latest trade mail box (in PDf format) may be downloaded above. We can fax or email a copy if you wish.
Colour brochure
We supply the trade with a four-colour brochure to give customers. The latest is dated August, 2008. Trade customers may order the latest brochure on their trade mailbox or by contacting ESA Customer Services by clicking here.
